Not Your Mother's Pain Reliever

Nano-Technology Enables First Ever Timed-Release Pain Reliever, MyOmega™

CHICAGO, Ill.- (October 29, 2008)

Concept Laboratories' innovative line of pain relievers has always sought to incorporate emerging technologies, but the release of MyOmega™ stands as the most groundbreaking development so far. MyOmega™ has come to light as the first ever topical pain reliever with a timed-release delivery system.

MyOmega™ capitalizes on the popularity of the original Omega 3™ line, which featured a Capsaicin-based topical analgesic entwined with Omega 3 fatty acids. Materializing during the advent of the "Omega boom", Omega 3™'s release was met with excellent success in the direct mail market.

"The Omega 3™ line brought excitement to a category of products that, up until its release, had reached a stalemate. Naturally, people couldn't get enough," said Zoe Weisman of Concept Laboratories. "We built MyOmega™ by isolating the most successful facets of Omega 3™, and redeveloped it to integrate the scientific progress that savvy customers crave. It's one of our favorite new product lines because it acts as a "super hero" product in the midst of a sea of the same-old same-old."

The MyOmega™ line has also been formulated to include two new active ingredients and two new application methods. Penetrating Heat Therapy Cream is a Capsaicin-based lotion that caters to those with arthritis and deep muscle pain. Capsaicin is proven to gradually deplete Substance P, the chemical in the body that makes you feel localized pain. Unlike oral pain relievers, which often lead to an increased tolerance, Capsaicin is the only pain-relieving agent that actually works better over time.

But there's more to MyOmega™ than just being a truly effective pain reliever. "Already customers are remarking how much they love the consistency and how good it feels going on. That's because we formulated it with the same base that we use with our most high-end cosmetic lotions," explained Weisman.

The addition of Omegas 3, 6 and 9, derived from the Brazilian Açai berry--an increasingly popular fruit known for its high antioxidant levels--also gives the lotion a silky, luxurious feeling. This is not your mother's pain relief ointment!

In addition to the Capsaicin based formula, Concept Laboratories has also developed a menthol and camphor based formula with two different application methods. There's the Triple Strength Pain Relief Rub, as well as the Targeted Relief Spray. The latter is particularly popular with those who are unable to reach painful areas like their back or feet. "We were thinking about people in pain--I mean real pain. Often what accompanies muscle pain is a loss of flexibility," Weisman reflected, "Our new Targeted Relief Spray allows people to reach those painful areas and deliver relief without the help of others. Not only is our spray convenient, but it gives customers a sense of empowerment!"

The best part? MyOmega™'s complete line features timed-release IcePearls™, a nano-encapsulated proprietary blend that delivers cooling relief for up to 8 hours. This means less frequent re-application. It truly caters to the growing needs of people in pain that can't afford to rub ointment on their body every half hour. "We have yet to find a person who can deny how great MyOmega™ makes them feel", Weisman declared, "And who can resist the added perk of relief that lasts all day?"
